Niwa
Niwa which means Garden is inspired by the Japanese Gardens in which beautiful and delicate moss sprawls randomly onto surfaces and rocks. Being a prevalent plant that engulfs a place, we decided to bring that into our studio set to create a ‘Mosscape’.
The Niwa studio set seeks to co-exist with nature to form pleasing asymmetrical moss formations that take you into a zen state of mind. Vegetation that wraps around structures to create gentle slopes and gradation to form appealing irregularities.
Gracing the walls are a circular framed moss art and forestry, monotone illustrated sand-colored wallpaper set within a 2m wainscoting to create an exuberant look. Experience nature and beauty in a tranquil Zen Garden.
The set will be available till 11th June 2023.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01 Are there any other charges?
If you would like more photos beyond the stated amount in the package it’ll be $5/image.
Every additional pax is $30 beyond the stated number in the package details.
02 What are the pax limitations for your studio set?
We’re able to accommodate up to 20 pax for shooting.
03 I'm looking to have my extended family join the shoot, would a single photo session allow ample time to photograph the various groups?
For bigger families with more than 7 pax coming for the photo session, we would suggest the Client book the Bleu’22 Town package in order to have a more comfortable pace for the shoot.
A longer time frame will allow us to cover more permutations within a multi-generational family shoot. We will also do our best to cover more within the given slot.
04 What time should I arrive?
We recommend all Clients arrive 10 minutes prior to the allocated time slot. To ensure all slots have sufficient shooting time, we will be unable to extend time slots for late arrivals.
05 What should I take note of before making the booking?
Clients have to take note of their child's nap and meal times and avoid those to ensure a smoother shoot.
The Client has to ensure that all attendees are informed of all details of the photoshoot. The Onlookers will only be liaising with the main Point of Contact.
All attendees are to be punctual for the photoshoot as we strictly follow the booking timings allotted to each Client.
06 How long will it take for images to be returned?
The lead time to return the edited soft copies will be within 5 - 7 working days after the selects are made by The Client. Images to select will be sent over within 3 - 5 working days.
07 Due to unforeseen circumstances, my family member is unable to attend the photoshoot on the date of booking?
Clients are allowed to reschedule their photoshoot up to 72 hours prior to their photoshoot via Acuity Scheduling. Hirers may click "Change Appointment" via the automated confirmation email to reschedule to their preferred open slots.
In the event a rescheduling is required within 72 hours prior to the photoshoot, Clients have to contact us at hello@theonlookers.co with their confirmation email to request for rescheduling. There will be an administration fee of $100 for rescheduling within 72 hours for the missed opportunity on the originally intended booking slot.
The $100 deposit will be held till your next booking for the following 6 months, from the original date of the shoot.
08 How do I make payment?
A deposit must be made upon booking. The balance payment can be made via Bank Transfer or PayNow at the end of the session.
All discount codes will only be applied to the original package rate before any add-ons. (eg. additional pax, time extension, etc.)
09 Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit payment to secure your booking is strictly not refundable.
10 Is there a changing room in the studio?
Yes, we have one changing room.
11 Can we bring along our pets and are they considered a pax?
Yes, our studio is pet-friendly. However, do ensure that the pets are potty-trained. Every pet is counted as one pax.
12 Does your editing include retouching/Photoshop (eg. skin smoothening, removing of blemishes, slimming, removing unwanted objects)?
Photos returned are only subjected to basic adjustments like color grading and exposure adjustments.
Any other retouching required would be subjected to an additional fee starting from $5 onwards.
13 Can we get the RAW images?
We strictly do not send over RAW images as they are unedited and we look to retain creative control over the images taken by us.
After each shoot, our team will filter out substandard images and send over the photos based on the package requirements.
