01What are the things we should prepare for a pre-wedding shoot?
To craft more relatable visuals that resonate with you, we will send over a questionnaire for you to complete and follow up with a virtual call before the pre-wedding photoshoot.
02Is there a difference between a pre-wedding & actual day wedding photoshoot?
Pre-wedding photoshoot services typically include a designated time for the couple to explore a concept they like without rushing for time. These photos are usually more directed and are used to showcase on the actual wedding day.
On the other hand, an actual day wedding photoshoot is an event-based documentation of the wedding journey as it unfolds. It is meant to document special moments with your family and friends while going through the ceremonies. The timeframe is tighter so there will be less time for couple photos.
03What should I wear for my pre-wedding photos?
It will depend on the concept that you are going for. Once that is locked down, we can provide suggestions on clothing selection.
04What is the ideal time/golden hour for outdoor wedding photos?
This will be location and concept-dependent, but most of the time, we work with dawn and dusk (7am - 9am & 5pm - 7pm) as that is the period when golden light is present.
If you'd like to shoot during the golden hour specifically, it usually happens between 6pm - 7pm, when the sun is at its lowest on the horizon. The lighting produces a harsh yet intimate lighting for moody shots.
05Should it rain during the shoot, what happens then?
We suggest continuing with the shoot unless the weather is horrendous, as gloomy days can also create stunning imagery! We can touch base closer to the date to try and reschedule if the weather is not in favour of the images that you are going for, subject to our photographer’s availability.
06What if we are camera-shy?
Not to worry as we will direct you accordingly. We will also schedule a call beforehand to understand you better and have a conversation so that you will be familiar with us even before the shoot.
